Meet Our Board

Shelly Fritz, DDS

Board President

Shelly Fritz sold her dental practice at the end of 2018 and was brought out of retirement by DCIYH where she now volunteers two days a week.  She was the editor of the New Mexico Dental Journal for twenty years and is past president of the New Mexico Dental Hygiene Association, the New Mexico Dental Association, The American Association of Dental Editors and Journalists, the New Mexico Academy of General Dentistry, and  the Board of Haverland Carter Lifestyle Group.  She is currently the Board President Dental Care In Your Home and the Haverland Carter Neighborhood Foundation, and the Vice President of the Board of the Senior Citizen Law Office.

Joylynn Sanchez

Board Secretary

Joylynn has been in the customer service field for 23 years. She has her Masters in Business from Strayer University and also a Reiki master. HSh has been on the DCIYH board since January of 2020 is the current Board Secretary.  She has a great desire to help the patients Dental Care In  Your Home serves and strives to learn more and continue to help as  a fundraiser and incorporate dentistry and non profit. My passion is Reflexology would love to attend classes but practice a self study.

Charlotte Elliott​

Board Treasurer

Charlotte Elliott, Treasurer has worked in Corporate accounting and finance for over 50 years. Industries include grocery, wholesale, manufacturing, healthcare, and insurance 
Charlotte also held positions of Director of Finance, Office Manager and Senior
Product Planner. She has served on the board of Dental Care In Your Home since 2010.
Charlotte has been a member of the Institute of Management Accountants since 1984 and
held board positions at the chapter, council, and global levels.

Robert Padilla

Board Member

Robert is a licensed master level social worker with over thirty-three years of experience working with the disabled and elderly populations. He was employed in state government with adult protective services and the disabled and elderly (D & E) Medicaid waiver program. Robert has trained in mediation theory and practice through the UNM Law School and is a member of the New Mexico Elders Mediation Network. He has experience in geriatric psychiatric services, hospice and home healthcare. Robert is a nationally certified guardian. He is also a member of the National Guardianship Association and the Aging Life Care Association® and has experience serving as guardian and caregiver for a family member.
